Day Sails in Puget Sound Port Madison is an upscale community located on Bainbridge Island. All areas are private and so this is a sail only excursion, although the anchor can be dropped to enjoy lunch aboard in this magestic setting. The trip to Port Madison is approximately a two hour trip each way and Winslow can be visited in a day trip from Seattle.
Winslow is a small town located on Eagle Bay in Bainbridge Island.It boosts numerous restaurants, including a waterfront pub, and eclectic shopping.The trip to Winslow is approximately a two hour trip each way and Winslow can be visited in a day trip from Seattle. Elliot Bay is the location of downtown Seattle and its prominent skyline.It is a hub of activity where container ships are unloaded and where cruise ships await their passengers.This is a sailing only excursion and no stops are made.The cruise to and from Elliot Bay is approximately four to five hours in duration. Weekend Getaways Poulsbo is a quaint town with a Norwegian heritage and a fabulous bakery.The trip from Seattle to Poulsbo is 3 to 4 hours, and a night in Poulsbo can be spent at anchor or on the dock.Poulsbo boosts a number of excellent restaurants, a unique shopping experience, and a nearby casino.The trip to Poulsbo is best made as a two or three day excursion, with one or two nights aboard. Blake Island is a Washington State Park with numerous easy to moderate hiking trails through wooded terrain.The entire island can be walked around in a 3 mile loop.Occasionally, native dances are performed in the Long House and can be attended by separately purchased ticket.Evenings at Blake Island can be spent on the dock or on a mooring buoy.The trip to Blake Island is best made as a two day and one night excursion. Week or more holidays aboard The San Juan Islands are an archipelago approximately 80 miles north of Seattle.While the larger islands of San Juan, Lopez, Orcas, and a few others are serviced by ferry, many of the San Juan Islands are accessible only by private boat.Many of the San Juan Islands are designated as State Parks.A San Juan cruise can include shopping, museums, and restaurants or visits to remote islands where there are no facilities, or a combination featuring the best of both experiences.San Juan Island trips are a minimum of 6 days and 5 nights to accommodate all there is to see and do, although trips of up to two weeks are recommended.
