"GYPSY CHRONICLES" ONLINE BOOK PRODUCT INFORMATION
This is an online book. The book takes the form of a bi-weekly journal, including written text and photos. Updates will be made each Monday and Thursday, at approximately 5 pm Eastern Standard Time (2 pm Pacific). When completed and compiled to book form, the online book of the voyage of “A.J. Wanderlust” is expected to exceed 500 pages. The terms journal, log and book, are used interchangeably to refer to the product.
Access to new stories will be via the website www.ajwanderlustworldcruise.com and require a password. Passwords are household specific, meaning that they are to be used by one family living in one location and should not be shared or transferred.
This is a true story and the account is intended to be factual. The voyage actually occurred between 2006 and 2008, thus is fresh in memory, but memory is an imperfect record. The journal has been compiled from ship’s navigational log, detailed e-mails sent to family and friends, numerous photos and an original online log maintained during the voyage.
We intend this online book to be inspirational, to encourage those with a dream to pursue it, to allow armchair
adventurers to live vicariously, and to provide entertainment for those who just love a good read. It is perfect for:
(i) parents or grandparents who want to encourage a young person to dream big and think of life outside the box,
(ii) teaching geography and world history and as a discussion prompter for cultural differences,
(iii) anyone who has ever loved a pet as Jackson features prominently in all adventures,
(iv) travelers and adventurers be they actively pursuing these goals or just dreaming,
(v) sailors, and
(vi) any one nearing middle age and wondering ‘what if.”
The subscription price is 50 US dollars plus applicable state tax. Payment is to be made through the secure Paypal website. This is a one-time fee and entitles the purchaser to access the online book which covers the journey of A.J. Wanderlust from August 2006 to June of 2008. The entire 22 month journey will be covered in detail commencing on December 7, 2009 and postings will continue for approximately 10 to 12 months.
- Photos posted on a bi-weekly basis will be available for purchase at a rate of 25 US dollars plus applicable state tax for an 8x10, matte frame included.
