Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1)      What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds or cancellations.  The goal of the principle website pages is to give an adequate and complete description of the product, so that you can make a knowledgeable choice to purchase the online book.  Subscriptions are non-transferrable.

2)      What if I am subscribing after December 7, 2009, the date at which the online book begins?
Subscribers to the online book after the original start date will be able to immediately access and read all prior postings.  Once posted, the chapters of the online book will remain active and accessible on the website.  Even after completion of the entire series, the website is expected to remain active for an indefinite period.

3)      What if I am too busy to access the website on a bi-weekly basis?  Will I miss out on some of the postings?
Once posted, all updates to the online book will remain active on the website.  You will be able to access, through your password, all former postings at your leisure.  This way, you can go back and read a favorite entry, or catch up after a busy week or vacation period.

4)      What if I followed the original trip online?  Will there be anything new in the online book?
Absolutely!  Those who followed the original trip online will definitely not be disappointed, as the online book will be greatly expanded.  In addition to all the great photos, descriptions of places and experiences will be significantly expanded.  When doing the original trip log, we sometimes chose to write only the positive, not wanting to worry friends or family.  The online book will expand on those fabulous experiences, but also cover the challenges and drama of cruising and international travel.

5)      Is there a traditional (paper) version of the online book?
Not yet, but it is expected that the online book will be published at the termination of the bi-weekly series.  A discount will be offered to online book subscribers who wish to purchase the paper version.  The published book is expected to include all text of the online book, but will not include all photos.

6)      Is this a good value for my money when I can buy a hard cover book by a renowned author for about half the cost?
The online book is not comparable to a traditional book for many reasons.  While there is a certain pleasure to holding a book in ones’ hands, the online book of A.J. Wanderlust does have its advantages.  Principally, an extended photo collection, an interactive experience where links to additional travel, historical, and geographical information are provided, and the satisfaction of continually watching a story develop during the year, whether yourself or to the person the online book is gifted. The online book is ideal to spur a child’s interest in learning, to help plan a trip or feel you are there if there is no desire to be more than an armchair adventurer.

7)
Are there not several travel logs and blogs available on the internet for free?
Yes, similar to what A.J. Wanderlust did through the Discovery Sailing website while it was underway.  Many of these weblogs are intended for friends and family, as ours was, and the frequency and detail of updates depends greatly upon the writer’s personal style and time constraints.  The Online Book offered here is structured much more like a book in its comprehensiveness and diligence to research of historical and travel facts.

8)
What if I am a relative or friend?
I am blessed to have many friends and a large extended family.  However, for a variety of reasons, including the ability to spend more time with family and other joyful pursuits, I am choosing to make the website www.ajwanderlustworldcruise.com my current profession.  Thus, with great apologies no discounts to family or friends, except my Mom of course!  Many thanks in advance for your patronage.
